Prize award notification scam

We have been made aware that a letter using the Rolls-Royce trademark and Company address and entitled ‘Prize Award Notification’ is being circulated.

The letter states that there is an ongoing “Rolls-Royce Prize Award Giveaway” and that the recipient of the letter has emerged as the winner of a prize of £2.5 million.

The recipient is required to provide their personal details to an e-mail address in the name of the Chief Operating Officer.

This letter is not from Rolls-Royce and is a fraud.

Anyone receiving such a letter should not respond to it or supply any of information required.

Enquiries are in hand to shut down the offending e-mail address.
