Rolls-Royce has played an important role in the development of Australia and New Zealand’s civil and military aviation for some 90 years. Today in excess of 1,700 Rolls-Royce gas turbine aero engines are in service, or on order, throughout the region.
We are also a leading supplier of advanced propulsion, motion control, winching and maintenance systems for commercial shipping and naval vessels. Additionally, we are party to various through-life and maintenance support contracts across all business sectors.
Headquartered in Sydney, the company also has offices in Canberra, Perth, Melbourne and Auckland, with additional engineering and field service offices at major airline and defence force establishments.
Rolls-Royce has recently expanded activity in the Marine sector in both countries through supplies to the commercial and naval marine fleets. In the Energy sector we supply gas turbine engines for power generation and oil and gas production.
We also operate field service offices in Melbourne and Auckland. We employ approximately 140 personnel in the region.
