Rolls-Royce, the global power systems company, has been awarded an $89 million MissionCare™ contract by the U.S. Department of Defense Naval Air Systems Command at Patuxent River to provide support for the F405 (Adour) engines that power the U.S. Navy’s T-45 training aircraft.

EPI Europrop International GmbH (EPI) has announced that Simon Henley will take up the role of President with full responsibility to manage the TP400 engine programme from January 1 2011. Simon, who joins EPI from partner company Rolls-Royce, replaces Nick Durham who has returned to Rolls-Royce to take up another position.
